Alisa Ten & “Le Miracle de l’Amour”. “Let them sleep” – metabarocco-party

“Le Miracle de l’Amour” is a project of modern eclectic music for voice and two violas da gamba (sometimes with drums, percussion, fretless bass, double bass, etc.) created by the well-known in St. Petersburg baroque musician Rust Pozyumsky together with Moscow multi-genre singer Alisa Ten.

The musicians called their style metabarocco, considered that META (part of difficult words, meaning abstraction, generalization, intermediateness, following something, transition to something else, state change, transformation) – is exactly the point. Despite the fact that the project was created not so long ago, it has received hearty welcome of the “Usadba Jazz” festival, St. Petersburg Promenade festival, VOLKOV MANIFEST 5 (with the participation of Vladimir Volkov on a double bass), “Viola is my Life” Moscow festival, gave concerts in Germany, France and Belarus.

The program including Rust Pozumsky’s songs on poems by Rilke, Verlaine, Hesse, Eliot (and an unknown St. Petersburg poet) will be performed by:

Alisa Ten – vocals
Rust Pozyumsky – viola da gamba
Natalya Timofeyeva (Paris) – viola da gamba
Thierry Runarvo (Brittany) – acoustic bass
